# CarCompare design direction

The implementation uses its own warm-paper palette, orange accents, dark typography,
oversized headline, vehicle spotlight, and journal layout. Existing car data,
comparison, detail pages, and blog publishing stay connected to the Flask app.

The bike directory at `/bikes` has server-rendered name/brand search and riding-style
filters. Its four editorial entries live in `bikes.py`; their images and source
links come from BikeWale. Current pricing and full specifications open on the
source site. Bikes are not imported by the car scraper and are not included in
the car comparison tray.

The new stylesheet is `static/editorial.css`, loaded after the existing base styles.
Responsive layouts cover narrow screens, with visible keyboard focus and reduced
motion support. External images and fonts require network access; image failures
show a labelled fallback.
